And here’s today’s news…

Author Aaron Allston has begun work on a new novelette, “Retreads”, which is set in the Strike Force universe (a roleplaying game Aaron worked on in 1998).

Author Kevin J. Anderson did a podcast interview with Bombad Radio. While I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet, those guys over there usually do a pretty good job of digging up the Star Wars trivia with the authors so it’ll probably be worth a listen.

Author Christie Golden will be at Anime and Comic Con in Clarcksville/Ft. Campbell, KY this weekend. If any Star Wars fans are in attendance, be sure to ask her about the upcoming Sword of the Jedi series (we’re dying for updates).

Michael A. Stackpole fans can check out the first four chapters of his new book Mysterious Ways on his site for free: Chapter One, Chapter Two, Chapter Three, Chapter Four. (you can find links at the bottom of each page for purchasing the book, and you can check out our review here)

Ahsoka voice actress Ashley Eckstein did an interview with IGN that you can check out here. It covers the upcoming finale of season five of The Clone Wars.

In video game news, Kotaku has an update on Star Wars 1313. According to them, the game was put on hold after the Disney acquisition and may miss a 2013 release.

IGN posted a cool trailer for Dark Horse Comics Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison. The video merges the extraordinary artwork from the series into a nicely done animation.

While Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison has already been released as single issues, it will also be getting a special hardcover release on March 27th.
