Let’s kick things off with some Star Wars Celebration Europe news. Warwick Davis has been announced as Star Wars Celebration Europe’s celebrity host. If you needed any further proof just how awesome Ewoks are, look no further.
In other convention news, Ashley Eckstein will be heading to C2E2. Star Wars comic writer Brian Wood, and cover artist Alex Ross will also be there. C2E2 will be held from April 26-28 this year in Chicago.
Authors John Jackson Miller and Christie Golden will be heading to Memphis, TN for MidSouthCon (March 22-24).
Farther out on the calendar, upcoming Rebels author Kevin Hearne will be in Houston, TX in July for a Carniepunk anthology signing.
In lit news, SFFWRTCHT interviewed upcoming Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void author Tim Lebbon which you can check out here. While the interview doesn’t delve into any juicy Star Wars aspects, it does cover some nice general questions about Tim and his writing.
Fictional Frontiers interview Scoundrels author Timothy Zahn on 15 Minutes of Fiction which you can listen to here.
Western Fictioneers took some time out with comic writer John Ostrander to discuss his work in the western genre. If you’re not familiar with John’s western comics, it’s definitely worth checking out.
SF Signal talked with author Paul S. Kemp about his Star Wars books, Forgotten Realms novels, and how the two genres of have affected each other. You can read it here. Paul has some insightful commentary you won’t want to miss.
Rounding things out, Tom Taylor talks Batman and Superman with Ausgamers. The interview covers his latest comic Injustice: Gods Among Us, and the game it’s based upon. You can check it out here.
