Starting off with Zahn news, both Club Jade and EUCantina posted interviews with Scoundrels author Timothy Zahn this week. You can check out Club Jade’s video interview here, as well as their video of the San Diego Scoundrels signing which included discussion and a Q&A. You can check EUCantina’s interview here.

This week there was some pretty big podcast news. The ForceCast announced Saturday that it would be coming to an end. In its place, separate from TheForce.Net and Rebelscum.com, will be Rebel Force Radio. The new podcast will still be hosted by Jason Swank and Jimmy Mac and will be located here. For now you can check them out on Facebook and Twitter. The new podcast will kick off this Saturday and will feature none other than The Clone Wars‘ Dave Filoni.

The other big podcast announcement was Full of Sith, which is hosted by Tha Mike Pilot, Bryan Young, and Consetta Parker. They’ve already got two podcast episodes out, and one of them is with Rancho Obi-Wan’s own Steve Sansweet. You can check Full of Sith at their official website.

CNET announced a new Star Wars book Wednesday called How Star Wars Conquered the Universe. It will be written by Chris Taylor and was described as “an in-depth look at the culture and economics of the Star Wars ecosystem, from its earliest days to its future as part of Disney.” The release date is tentatively set for 2014. CNET has an interview with Chris that you can read here.

In other news, author Paul S. Kemp challenged Pearl Jam vocalist Eddie Vedder to a duel on Twitter. So far the silken voiced pretty boy has not responded.

Lastly, Tom Taylor revealed his deepest, darkest secrets to EGM Now. Tom laid on some humor, so it’s worth a read. It covers the new Injustice: Gods Among Us comic series he’s working on for DC Comics.
