Kicking off with a little book news, upcoming Star Wars author Martha Wells revealed that she has almost finished work on her Leia novel which will be part of the Rebels series.
I’ve managed to stick to my writing goal, which is really good, as the Star Wars book is due by January 31. I should hopefully be done with the first draft in the next ten days or so, then be able to get a bunch of revision done before I send it in.
Meanwhile comic cover artist Stéphane Roux has teased another image of a possible new Star Wars series. This is in addition to last week’s image.
And speaking of cover art, Dark Horse has posted the final cover for Star Wars #1 complete with text.
Rounding out lit news, Star Wars Report’s Beyond the Films has an interview with Annihilation author Drew Karpyshyn which you can check out here.
Finally Disney has posted some info on Star Wars Weekends for 2013 including dates and the celebrities who will be in attendance.
