On the latest episode of Jedi Journals, Del Rey editor Erich Schoeneweiss had some interesting things to say about John Jackson Miller’s upcoming book Kenobi. Erich commented that when he heard about the Kenobi book, he wondered if it would cover the issues with Krayt and Qui-Gon. According to Erich, when he got his first look at the outline, both his questions were answered in the first paragraph. Erich went on to say that the sample chapter had him laughing, so expect some of John’s trademark humor.

Interestingly enough, he compared the project to the likes of James Luceno’s Darth Plagueis. Based on his comments, I believe this was in regards to the scope and epic quality of the book. Be sure to check out the podcast to hear everything Erich had to say.
