And our shout outs this week go to…
Jedi News for their interview with Bill Slavicsek, writer and editor behind the Star Wars West End Games material, and a director at Wizards of the Coast.
Paul S. Kemp whose next Egil and Nix story A Discourse in Steel is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
FANgirlblog for their interview with Darth Internous who many will know from the Star Wars Books Facebook page. Darth Internous aka Tom Hoeler gave some interesting insight on what it’s like to work for Del Rey and with the Star Wars Books team. Definitely worth checking out.
EUCantina for their interview with Haden Blackman, the writer for Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison.
Steve Thomas for his amazingly cool Star Wars themed vintage travel poster art. Here’s an example and you can see the rest on his website.
The Rumor that Matt Stover is taking over for Karen Traviss with Imperial Commando. We still don’t know if it’s true because it hasn’t been confirmed or denied. But it sure provided some entertaining WTF moments out there in fandom.

Customizing Ewoks
September 21, 2012 at 8:38 am | Posted in Toys & Collectibles | 1 CommentThere are some dark paths so addictive, they become all consuming. Yet action figure customization is one of those dangerous journeys that has always tempted me. Who hasn’t looked at an action figure with an awful paint job and wondered if they could do better? With my artistic inclination, I always thought about it, but was afraid to do so and ruin one of my prized toys.
Until now.
Staring at my small Star Wars Ewok collection, I wondered what Logray would look like with black stripes. I had the paint, a paint brush, and even an extra Logray I could afford to ruin. In about ten minutes his brown stripes turned black and I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
Logray was now Wartuk. Continue Reading Customizing Ewoks…
