Tricia Barr at FANgirl Blog got the chance to talk with Star Wars author Aaron Allston about X-Wing pilot, Antarian Ranger and Jedi Knight Tyria Sarkin Tainer. She shared some of the discussion here and also wrote a nice article that explores Tainer and her role as a prominent strong female character in Star Wars Expanded Universe which you can read here on Suvudu. The article also includes a brand new illustration by Star Wars artist Chris Scalf portraying Jaina Solo and Tyria Tainer fighting off some Mandalorians. Be sure to check it out.

Origins Game Fair 2012

Origins Game Fair kicks off today in Columbus, OH. Origins runs from May 30th to June 3rd. Among the many guests who will be in attendance is Star Wars notables Aaron Allston (special guest of honor), Michael A. Stackpole, and Timothy Zahn. You can check out all the details here.

And don’t forget, there will be a special Origins exclusive sci-fi anthology entitled Time-Traveled Tails available in limited numbers.
