May the Fourth Be With You started off with a bang and the announcement from Celebration VI that Princess Leia herself, Carrie Fisher, will be appearing that the annual Star War fun fest in Florida.

Lots of folks got in on the fun of May 4th and here’s some of what we saw around the web.

Death Star PR was its usual Sithy (and funny) self with this list of Terrible Yoda Advice

Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Serenity, Castle) got in on the act, tweeting this:

Peter Mayhew got in on the act with this Chewie greeting.  And so did Her Universe.

However, we think the winner of the day was Rancho Obi-Wan publicist, Consetta Parker,  with her Star Wars Wedding Video courtesy TLC. 

We can’t think of a better way to close out this day than by bringing you a rousing version of the Star Wars theme, courtesy of Nick the lounge singer.
