Star Wars author Karen Miller revealed on her blog that she’s returning to Star Wars with a short story for Star Wars Insider magazine.

So,  a reasonably quiet weekend, with some research and some getting ready to put together a short story for Star Wars Insider magazine. I guess I can gloat a bit and share that I got to read the new Aaron Allston extravaganza as preliminary research … bwahahahaha! *g* Allston fans are going to have such a blast with this one, I’m sure.

‘Scourge’ Excerpt from Random House

Random House has posted a rather lengthy excerpt from Jeff Grubb’s upcoming novel Scourge. The 27 page excerpt includes the dramatis personae, the first two pages of the prologue, and the first page of chapters one through twelve. You can check out the preview here (just click on the book cover to bring up the excerpt). Scourge comes out April 24th.

Bleeding Cool has a first look inside the upcoming Blood Ties: Boba Fett is Dead. If you’re wondering what Chris Scalf’s art is going to look like, you’ll want to check out the three preview pages. Carrying on from the previous Blood Ties’ arc, the style hasn’t changed, and Tom Taylor is still injecting a healthy amount of humor. Definitely looks like a fun series. Boba Fett is Dead #1 will be out on April 25th.
