A few updates from around the web including an update from Timothy Zahn, and interview with Sean Williams, and some convention news.

First off Star Wars author Timothy Zahn commented on Facebook about his upcoming Han Solo novel.

Apologies for being silent these past few days. The Han Solo book is coming along *very* quickly (especially for the first half of a book), and I always hesitate to break that kind of momentum by moving onto other tasks or activities. As soon as I hit a bump (and I’m sure I eventually will), I’ll take a breather and try to get back here to answer some of your questions.

Elsewhere, Star Wars author Sean Williams did an interview with Nicole Murphy which looks into writing habits.

What do you do to keep your ‘well of creativity’ stocked up?

SW: I seek input, either from the real world (e.g. reading New Scientist, going for a walk, talking, travel) or the imagined (reading a novel, watching a good TV show, revisiting an old movie, dreaming). If nothing’s going in, how can I expect anything to come out?

You can read the full interview here.

If you’re looking for a convention to go to this month, Timothy Zahn will be at CoastCon in Biloxi, MS, The Clone Wars voice actors Stephen Stanton and Anna Graves will be at WonderCon in Anaheim, CA, and John Jackson Miller and Michael A. Stackpole will both be at Midsouthcon in Memphis, TN.
