drewkarpyshynStar Wars Books posted some big news today on their Facebook page. First off, Drew Karpyshyn’s new book is entitled The Old Republic: Annihilation and is slated for release on November 13th.

Republic agent Theron Shan and his Twi’lek compadre, Teff’ith (from Dark Horse Comics’ STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC: THE LOST SUNS) must contend with a Sith Empire counter-attack against the Republic, spearheaded by the lethal apprentice of Darth Malgus. Satele Shan and Jace Malcolm co-star in what will be a fast-paced and tension-fraught tale based on the award-winning video game from BioWare and LucasArts.

Secondly, Alexander Irvine’s Nomi Sunrider novel has been canceled.

Lastly, Timothy Zahn’s Han Solo novel will be out Winter 2012. You can see all the details here, as well as a recap of the upcoming books and their release dates (no dates have changed).
