Tosche Station #1 – Retirony

Welcome to Tosche Station, the official podcast of Roqoo Depot and the newest member of the Solo Sound Network!  We aim to be your home for all things Star Wars and nerd culture.

In this week’s inaugural episode, lucky listeners get to meet our intrepid hosts Nanci and Brian. We waste no time jumping in and talking Red Tails as well as attempting to be the soothing voice of reason in the latest Star Wars fandom scrum, George Lucas’ retirement from blockbuster films. In addition, we pine for a Rogue Squadron TV show and Brian professes his undying love for Joss Whedon.*

*Hyperbole. Somewhat. 

We also take a look back at 2011 in Star Wars, recapping the best in Expanded Universe novels as well as fan conventions and gatherings. Time is also taken to poke fun at Brian’s complete inability to recognize celebrities when they’re sitting right in front of him.

Rounding out the show, Brian and Nanci talk about what they’re looking forward to in 2012 EU books and highlight their picks for fanworks of the week.
