John Jackson Miller KOTOR: War Interviews

John Jackson Miller, comic writer for the upcoming Knights of the Old Republic: War, did a couple interviews to cover the new KOTOR arc. On MTV he talks about how KOTOR: War will be like a new beginning, and fans that haven’t read the previous KOTOR comics will still be able to jump on board and enjoy the series. He also reassured existing KOTOR fans that we will see familiar faces and some old plot threads that didn’t get wrapped up. John also talks a little about the setup and what kind of challenges Zayne is going to be facing going forward, as well as a mention that we’ll see some first person narration from Zayne. Our Tribute to Bob Anderson

Yesterday a legend passed away. Bob Anderson was a professional fencer and actor who worked on numerous films including The Legend of Zorro, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and many others. He was also one of the men who ever played the iconic Darth Vader. In Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Bob Anderson played Darth Vader in the fight scenes utilizing his skill as a master fencer.

Bob lived 89 years, a full life, and we wish him well in the next one.

Comic writer Tom Taylor doesn’t always write Star Wars comics. In fact, he doesn’t always write comics. You might not know it, but he also writes plays, and some of them have won their fair share of awards. Tom posted on Facebook that for the month of January, he’s giving away plays to anyone who wants one.

Anyone who wants any of my award-winning short plays – The Example, Falling Praying, Believe, Mystery Flight, A Short Play for a Competition, etc. for a performance, school show, writing class, whatever, get in contact. They’re yours. All free this month. Happy New Year.
