Databurst From the 501st

Latest Databurst From the 501st covering event news from December 21-27th. Not too many troop events planned in the oncoming week as Christmas draws near. However, there are a few garrisons that will be on active duty.

December 23

  • Japanese Garrison will be in Akita City, Japan for the Kita-akita Kirakira festival.
  • Empire City Garrison will be in Stony Brook, NY for a visit to the Stony Brook University Hospital Child Life Program from 10:30am-12:00pm.
  • Wisconsin Garrison will be in Racine, WI for the Salvation Army Bell Ringing at JC Penney’s south entrance at Regency Mall from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

December 24

We here at Roqoo Depot wish all the garrisons of the 501st a Merry Christmas and we look forward to covering the events of the new year. The next Databurst will be on December 28th.

Today Roqoo Depot wishes one BAMF a very happy birthday. Samuel L. Jackson has played many roles: hitmen, drug dealers, cops, and Jedi. Whether it’s on the good side of the law or the bad, Samuel L. Jackson has kept us entertained. According to IMDb, he has 137 film credits which happens to exceed his costars such as Robert Downey Jr., Bruce Willis, Dustin Hoffman, and John Travolta, just to name a few. He’s played in some great movies, even well known films that we don’t even remember him being in like Goodfellas and Patriot Games. So while you’re out and about on the internet today, stop by Twitter and wish the man a kick ass mofo birthday. Just don’t mention the snakes in the cake.
