Author Paul S. Kemp wrote a collection of short stories available as an eBook collection called Ephemera. The stories range from Lovecraftian to D&D fantasy. One of them is almost beyond genre classification: “The Marlboro Man.” It’s sort of a mix between fantasy and mystery and it stars an angel. But this is not your typical angel. Today Paul posted the entire story on his website, so if you’re looking for a good read, be sure to check it out. You can read it here.

If you’re interested in buying Ephemera, it’s a pretty good deal. Amazon and Barnes & Noble both have it for just $2.99. The collection includes seven short stories that each have a pretty good length and completeness to them. The first few stories were my favorites and were well worth the price.
