Described as the “coolest Star Wars comic ever,” Dawn of the Jedi will take place at the beginning of the Star Wars timeline and the Jedi Knights — before lightsabers. John Ostrander is the writer for Dawn.
The announcement came at NYCC Retailers Breakfast. Along with Dawn of the Jedi Dark Horse also announced Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: War from John Jackson Miller and Darth Vader: Ghost Prison, a five issue mini-series by Haden Blackman and Agustin Alessio (deluxe hardcover to follow). In addition you can look forward to Star Wars: Knight Errant 3 and Star Wars: Blood Ties (Tom Taylor and Chris Scalf). Blood Ties headline reads “Boba Fett Is Dead.”
