Dark Horse posted a three page sneak preview of the upcoming Star Wars Adventures: Chewbacca and the Slavers of the Shadowlands trade paperback collection. The 72 page TPB covers the mighty Chewbacca during his youth on Kashyyyk as he embarks upon his rite of passage into the Shadowlands. Chewbacca and the Slavers of the Shadowlands will be out on August 31, 2011.

Happy Birthday, Ahmed Best

Today Roqoo Depot wishes actor Ahmed Best a happy birthday. Star Wars fans know Ahmed as the voice actor who voiced Jar Jar Binks not only in the films, but in the television show The Clone Wars as well as the Star Wars specials of Robot Chicken. Ahmed has also played parts in several movies and various television shows such as Alias, Cougar Town, and Law & Order: LA. He has even created his own show which he also directs and produces called This Can’t Be My Life. Today Ahmed turns 38.
