Dark Horse revealed the cover for Star Wars Knight Errant: Deluge #5 on their Facebook page. Cover is once again done by cover artist Joe Quinones and features the new Hutt villain Zodoh! The also teased fans to expect some starfighters next week. We’ll keep you posted.

Fate of the Jedi Trivia and Upcoming Live Chat with Christie Golden

Suvudu has posted their Take Five feature and this week it’s with Star Wars author Christie Golden. Take Five highlight five facts about the author’s latest books, in this case the Fate of the Jedi series and Ascension. This one in particular shares how Pocket came about, the naming of the Indigo Tower, what Moff Vanysn looks like, what research was done, and her favorite character. You can see all the answers here (note it contains one spoiler for Ascension).

Star Wars Books also announced that they will be hosting a live Facebook chat with Christie on August 17 at 3:30 PM EST (2:30 CST), so be sure to have your questions ready. Preview of Star Wars Art: Comics featuring JH Williams III

Back in April we reported an update on the upcoming Star Wars Art: Comics, and now one of the artists shared some more news on the anticipated release. JH Williams III is one of 20 artists that will be contributing new artwork to the collection. On his blog he shared a little about the piece he did as well as a preview picture of the artwork…

I came up with an idea that could feel like a snippet of a comics story, an untold tale, and the page would be like we’re getting to see only one key moment of the story. And this scene would be a widescreen fold out. They liked the idea. I wanted something that was a new character of my creation. -JH Williams III

Star Wars Knight Errant: Deluge Sketches

Dark Horse posted some sketches yesterday for the upcoming Knight Errant: Deluge comic arc for Star Wars Friday. The sketches are by comic artist Ivan Rodriguez with colors done by colorist Michael Atiyeh. You can see them all here on Dark Horse’s blog.

Knight Errant: Deluge #1 will be released on August 17th.
