First Grainy Cell Phone Video of Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO
June 8, 2011 at 7:30 pm | Posted in Miscellaneous, Video Games | 3 CommentsLead writer Daniel Erickson of the new Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO due out this year joined the G4 crew to talk about the new game earlier this evening and showed off a little of the game play. Armed with only my grainy cell phone video camera I managed to grab the five minute interview. It is split into two videos because I forgot to disable the radio handset and my mother called halfway through the filming. Something about it being her and my dad’s 48TH anniversary or some such. I digress…. it messed up the video and I now have to post two separate videos. Thanks Mom!

New Choices of One Excerpt
June 8, 2011 at 7:41 am | Posted in Books, Star Wars News | 1 CommentTags: choices of one, timothy zahn
StarWars.com has released an excerpt for the upcoming Timothy Zahn novel Choices of One. The sixteen page excerpt is taken from chapter two in the book. You can read it here.
Over on his Facebook page, Timothy Zahn commented on Luke’s appearance in the excerpt:
My assumption was that the Rebel hierarchy would require some serious waiting/observation time before commissioning Luke as an officer — you’d want to make sure the candidate is ready and able before entrusting him with other men’s and women’s lives. However, since he’s a commander by TESB, I assume he moved up pretty quickly once he started on the ladder. And yes, of COURSE Chapter One starts with a Star Destroyer.
Choices of One goes on sale July 19, 2011.
