Today Jedi – The Dark Side #1 will be available in stores. Jedi – The Dark Side follows Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Xanatos as they go to stop a civil war on Telos IV, which also happens to be Xanatos’ homeworld and ruled by his father. Set twenty one years before Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and before Qui-Gon takes Obi-Wan as his apprentice, this series will explore Xanatos’ fall and the events that lead to the Jedi Apprentice series.

Aside from Star Wars he has written several comic series including Solomon Kane, Exurbia, and The Devil’s Footprints. He is also the editor for Hellboy, Conan, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Serenity.
Cover artist Stéphane Roux will be doing the covers for the Jedi – The Dark Side series as well as the interior art for the upcoming Agent of the Empire series by John Ostrander.
